Liquid dispenser pumps thick and thin

Rieke Packaging Systems has launched a new pump, which can dispense a variety of liquid products from free-flowing sauces to highly viscous creams as well as those containing small particulates.

The RS30 has been designed for use with a range of dosing options, and capable of fitting a number of bottle capacities.

A variety of ball and flap valves are available to suit the particular characteristics of different products.

The head design allows discharge of liquids at a variety of angles, including near vertical.

The design of the pump features a wide plunger and collar interface to provide durability and stability, even in the fully up position, claims the manufacturer.

The dispenser is particularly suitable for food products where repeated and accurate portion control is important, such as foodservice applications.

The RS30 is availabile in two lengths, providing a dose range of 5 to 30ml, while enabling it to fit a variety of closure sizes and bottle capacities.

The pump offers new safety features including tamper evidence and improved security during shipping.

A unique safety feature is the availability of a tamper-evident collar, the first time this has been made available on this type of pump.

The dispenser also offers a high thread engagement in the lock down position (1.5 full turns), which means that the RS30 cannot 'pop open' during transit, ensuring safe and secure distribution, the company claims.

Based in the US, Rieke Packaging provides a variety of packaging and processing solutions, with a focus on closures and dispensing system, for the food, beverage and personal care industries.
