FlexLink's line includes its X85 conveyor, pallets, line controls and production logistics software. The new X85 conveyor's capacity and speed offers longest in class estimated mean time between failures and the lowest in class noise level, the company claimed. FlexLink's distributed line control system also allows dynamic speed control, with soft starts and stops. "This enables gentle product handling, and efficient line balancing at considerably lower power consumption," the company claimed. "The concept ensures easy engineering, installation and maintenance." The X85 pallet system allows flexible routing, and full control of each product on the line. The pallet system can be configured to meet the situation. The pallets are linked into the machines, line control and manufacturing execution software. The Youtilize software allows supervisors to manage all resources available in the production, including the operators, machines and parts, along with all data and information needed for the production. The software is designed to communicate in real time, allowing supervisors to make improvements in production efficiency, the company claimed. Sweden-based FlexLink had a turnover of €138m last year.
