Richard Walton, R&D manager at Japanese dairy Meiji, and Mark Richardson, group director of operations at Europe’s largest private label soft drinks bottler, Refresco Gerber, will join DairyReporter.com editor, Mark Astley, and BeverageDaily.com editor, Ben Bouckley, for the closing roundtable discussion to address this question, and more.
Organized by DairyReporter.com and BeverageDaily.com, Beverage and Dairy Treatment 2015 on January 29 will explore breakthrough processing technologies, including high-pressure processing (HPP), ESL and aseptic.
Demand for higher-quality, longer-life dairy drinks, juices, smoothies, teas and other healthy beverages has, and continues to, drive manufacturers and fillers to invest in new processing and packaging technology.
In line with this behaviour, our four-man roundtable will also discuss the packaging implications of particular processing choices, whether 'premium' aseptic will become the norm, and the impact of recent bottle and cap sterilization advances.

Alongside our roundtable, we'll be broadcasting webinars featuring the likes of Zenith International, Coldpress, LiDestri, and KHS.
Matt Wilton, commercial consulting director, Zenith International, will kick of the event at 9.30am New York time (2.30pm London time).
He'll provide us with an overview of global trends in added-value beverages and liquid dairy products, and an examination of the benefits offered emergent processing technologies bring.
Stefan Muhs, product support, aseptic filling, KHS, will discuss the company’s new hygienic design for a cap applicator in a sterile environment.
Andrew Gibb, managing director, Coldpress, will then talk about the acceleration of the Coldpress brand globally and in the UK following a late 2013 listing with Tesco, shining a light on the mistakes he made in the early days with HPP and barriers to uptake.
Stefani LiDestri, chief marketing officer, LiDestri Food and Beverage, will then explain why she thinks LiDestri can shake up a stagnant US juice aisle with healthier, more nutritious products in more exciting packaging – after a recent significant investment in aseptic filling lines from Tetra Pak.
Closing Beverage and Dairy Treatment 2015, Richard Walton from Meiji and Mark Richardson from Refresco Gerber will join the editors of DairyReporter.com and BeverageDaily.com for the aforementioned roundtable discussion.
