Neste Jacobs increases Valio milk powder production by 8%

The project's purpose was to increase product selection and extend optimization for milk powder. The estimated 8% increase for milk powder production was reached as planned, while production energy efficiency also improved.

The optimization was done with Neste Jacobs' NAPCON Controller software.

Jarmo Suominen, CEO of Neste Jacobs, said this was the third time the company has utilized its NAPCON software for Valio, the biggest dairy company in Finland, which receives 85% of the milk produced in the country.

Previously, Neste Jacobs increased the whey powder production at the Valio Lapinlahti factory by 10% with NAPCON Controller.
