Mars Wrigley Confectionery launches fruit, chocolate sorbet
Mars Wrigley Confectionery has launched Dove Mango Sorbet with Dark Chocolate.
The company says the announcement comes in response to an increase in popularity for fruit and chocolate pairings, according to ‘Luxury, Fruits and Innovative Ingredients Named Among Confectionery Trends for 2016, May 2016’.
Emily Strobel, marketing director, Mars Ice Cream, said it is the latest flavor to add to its Dove Ice Cream and Sorbet range.
She said it gives consumers the chance to discover ‘a new, satisfying and refreshing treat’.
The ice cream is sold in boxes of six, 2 oz. bars with a suggested retail price of $4.99.
