Launched in December 2017, the plan is to place value at the heart of Sodiaal's strategy, with the objective of the dairy cooperative being to reach the level of profitability of the top five European dairy companies.
In support of this plan, CEO Jorge Boucas, has reorganized the group's operational activities into four divisions and appointed key professionals from the agri-food industry.
Boucas is joined by Kees Gielen as group operations and finance director. Sodiaal said Gielen's mission is to successful implement the performance plan, while also simplifying management and internal operations. Gielen was CFO and operational director at Dutch cooperative FrieslandCampina, the fifth largest dairy cooperative in the world, from 2006 to 2015.
