Hygiena has entered into a strategic partnership with Charles River Laboratories to market, distribute and support its Celsis dairy, food and beverage product line.

The Celsis Innovate System is a rapid bioburden detection system used by the largest dairy, food and beverage companies producing aseptically filled or extended shelf life beverages and foods.

Contamination

It provides critical information to respond to product contamination, reduce waste, and release product faster.

This partnership will help customers meet the growing needs to preserve and protect the integrity of our food supply,” said Ian Jester, corporate VP global sales, Charles River Laboratories.

Hygiena is a Warburg Pincus portfolio company that specializes in rapid food safety and environmental diagnostic testing.

Through the partnership, it will expand its product offering with Charles River Laboratories ATP-based Innovate instrument, software and RapiScreen reagent kits for microbial screening of dairy, food and beverage products.

These products complement Hygiena’s ATP and pathogen detection product portfolios.

We are excited to expand our product offering to include the Innovate System and RapiScreen assays,” said Steven Nason, CEO, Hygiena.

Innovate System products will continue to be available through their existing distribution network.
