This week's podcast looks at sports nutrition and encapsulation.

This week, the Dairy Dialog weekly podcast takes a short trip across the Irish Ocean to look at the work of Dr Brendan Egan, Associate Professor of Sport and Exercise Physiology in the School of Health and Human Performance at Dublin City University.

We then look at some of the work taking place in Cork, home of AnaBio Technologies Ltd., which is a company providing micro-encapsulation and contract manufacturing for the global food, pharmaceutical and animal health product ingredients industry.

First, we talk with the company’s founder, Dr Sinéad Bleiel, for an overview of AnaBio’s work, followed by more on how the encapsulation process works, with science director, Dr Robert Kent.

EimearCarroll is R&D researcher at AnaBio, and works on the oil encapsulation platform, and we also speak with Dr Olga Moreno Marro, the company’s senior R&D researcher, who told us about some of the other projects the company is working on.

Finally, we have our weekly market update with Liam Fenton from INTL FCStone.
