Sidel Group has completed its acquisition of PET Engineering, expanding its packaging portfolio in containers for water, soft drinks, liquid dairy products and beer.

Based in San Vendemiano, Italy, PET Engineering has 40 employees and a global customer base.

Award-winning designs

It has won awards for its 39g bottle, an alternative to glass with benefits such as unbreakability, lightweight and low cost and its LuxCap, developed with LaBrenta.

According to Elisa Zanellato, marketing & communication manager, PET Engineering, ‘FonteVita redefines the boundaries of premiumness for the HoReCa (Hotel/Restaurant/Café) sector’.

Not with glass packaging but a plastic one, through an eye-catching shape, a new type of decoration, a shade made possible thanks to an original use of the multilayer technology by Husky Injection Moulding Systems and an easy colors dosing process instead of a full sleeve label,” she said.

LuxCap, developed with LaBrenta, is the first premium cap for pco 1881 cap, which is customizable in colors, finishing and printings.

It also recently launched Aura Water targeting women including grapefruit & lemon grass and green tea & pomegranate flavors in terms of well-being and wellness.
