The Dutch multinational dairy cooperative says gut health remains high on the consumer agenda but with increasingly busy schedules, consumers are looking for convenient gut health applications to meet their health goals.
To inspire brands to create convenient gut health solutions, FrieslandCampina Ingredients will showcase its recently launched Biotis GOS-OP High Purity prebiotic ingredient, including its new gummy concept.
Designed to help manufacturers overcome common challenges associated with formulating prebiotic supplements, this ingredient is efficacious in doses as low as two grams (according to the firm's own study conducted in 2022). The firm says this opens up new opportunities for brands to develop effective and convenient holistic health solutions.
Representatives for the global supplier of protein and prebiotics will be at booth #H270 spotlighting the firm's commitment to helping brands create sustainably nutritious solutions with a new suite of carbon-neutral solutions, including carbon-neutral protein powder.
These innovations come off the back of market research indicating that health and planet-conscious consumers are actively looking for more environmentally-friendly products, and reducing carbon is a top priority, with 63% of consumers taking action to reduce their personal carbon footprint (FMCG Gurus, Top Ten Trends, 2022).
The supplier will be sharing is sustainable nutrition expertise at two talks during Vitafoods. The first, "Helping you meet the demand for more sustainable dairy products" will be presented at the Sustainability Resource Centre, on 9 May.
The second, "How FrieslandCampina Ingredients is helping manufacturers meet the demand for more sustainable dairy" will be available online during the first week of May - the week before the face to face event.
The company will also be discussing trending concepts such as protein waters and RTDs at its stand at the show, showcasing solutions formulated using its Nutri Whey Isolate Clear and Plantaris ingredients.
