FrieslandCampina relocates UK headquarters
The relocation of the Friesland Campina UK headquarters is part of a strategic move towards creating a more ‘modern and dynamic workspace’ as it gets set to expand its UK and Ireland footprint.
The FrieslandCampina portfolio comprises a number of global brands, including flavoured premium milk offering Chocomel – now worth £10.3m; fellow flavoured milk brand YAZOO; and ready-to-drink coffee brand Barista.
With a cooperative history dating back more than 150 years, the company now boasts 14,500+ farmer members. Collectively they own this company, which has branch offices spanning 29 different countries and a market in more than 100.
The UK serves as a top five market for FrieslandCampina; and with a new set-up in London, the company believes it will not only benefit from the city’s diverse talent pool, but also Victoria’s useful transport connections.
The new offices, which will be up occupied by the second quarter of the year, feature a custom-built, ‘bright and airy’ open-plan layout and dedicated FrieslandCampina brand themed meeting rooms.
“This relocation marks a pivotal moment for FrieslandCampina as we position ourselves for the next phase of growth and development in the UK and Ireland,” commented Will Jones, managing director UK & Ireland for FrieslandCampina.
“We’ve invested significantly in our iconic brands in recent years. now it is time to match that investment in our people. Not only will the new space enhance our operational efficiency, but it also enables us to stay agile and responsive to the evolving needs of our customers – as well as delivering the elevated environs that our colleagues deserve to help them to deliver their most effective work. This is a move that will set the stage for more innovation, more collaboration, and more sustained growth.
“We believe that the inspiring and modern work environment will be a magnet for professionals who share our vision for excellence and innovation and help FrieslandCampina attract and retain top talent in the industry.”
He concluded: “We’re excited about what our future in the city may bring!”
