Parmalat bullish after solid performance

Despite currency devaluations in both North and South America, Italian dairy group Parmalat posted only a 2.7 per cent decline in sales for 2002 as a programme of product roll-outs helped boost organic volume growth.

McLelland extends production facilities

Scottish dairy producer McLelland is investing a total of £13 million to extend its cheese-making operations in Stranraer. The plans include the building of a new 10,000 ton cold store and general storage facilities.
