Graham’s The Family Dairy has signed a new deal with Scottish food suppliers Brakes Scotland to provide milk, butter, cream, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese and crème fraiche to its customers across Scotland.

A new Walmart dairy facility, one of the biggest in the US, will be built in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It will create more than 200 jobs, and be operational by 2017.

Walmart, the US’ largest grocer, announced plans today to establish a milk processing plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a move that will create more than 200 jobs ranging from milk processing to transportation.

Italian dairy company Parmalat’s net revenue for the financial year ending December 31, 2015, rose from $6.08bn (€5.5bn) to $7.1bn (€6.4bn), however, profits fell from $228m (€205m) in 2014 to $164m (€147.6m).

Marc Tarabella led the new milk program through the European Parliament. It is hoped implementation will take place in August 2017.
