Following the purchase last week of Kraft Heinz natural cheese activities in Canada, French dairy company Lactalis has further dipped into the market by acquiring the US yogurt division of Ehrmann AG.

Fonterra said the market continues to be attractive for its dairy protein and dairy speciality ingredients.

The joint-venture between PAI Partners and Nestlé, Froneri, which is the world’s third largest ice cream manufacturer, has announced its annual results for the year ending December 31, 2018.
