FDA to extend feedback period for dairy product labeling

After announcing a commitment to review the labeling standards for dairy and non-dairy products over the summer, the FDA is extending its comment period by 60 days to allow more time for the public to weigh in on the issue.

The acquisition is expected to take place in January 2019.

Dairy market reform agreement signed in Israel

Israel’s Minister of Finance, Moshe Kahlon, Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel, the Israel Farmers Association, and the Association of Cattle Breeders signed a reform agreement on the dairy market on October 29.
